liminal is an eerie yet comforting escape from reality, featuring such concepts as created by the infamous online urban legend, The Backrooms, originating from a creepypasta posted on a 2019 4chan thread. One of the most well-known examples of the Internet aesthetic of liminal spaces, which depicts usually busy locations as unnaturally empty, The Backrooms was first described as a maze of empty office rooms that can only be entered by "noclipping out of reality".

"As an artist, I have always been drawn to the liminal - the moments of transition, the glimpses of something beyond what we see with our eyes. In this album, I have sought to capture the essence of these liminal images, to weave together a tapestry of sound that invites you to step into that threshold and see what lies beyond.

Through my music, I hope to inspire you to embrace the liminal spaces in your own life, to take risks and step into the unknown, to trust in the transformative power of the in-between. May these songs be a reminder that we are all on a journey of becoming, and that the liminal is where we find our truest selves." - elujjin
